I liked pirates BEFORE they were cool.

Isn't it really annoying when something you've always thought was cool suddenly becomes the height of trendy awesome-ness? Pirates have always been awesome in my book, but since the Pirates of the Caribbean thing it seems like pirates are totally IT. Pirates, pirates, pirates. They're everywhere, and I'm left speechless. Perhaps I should find something new to love, something that's not quite in the public spotlight. Something like, perhaps, origami or calculators.

In the meantime, however, I've decided to rise up against the pirate trend with this "I liked pirates BEFORE they were cool" t-shirt design:
